Ellie Jeffkins - National League Voided - Written By Lewis Browning On Thursday, the FA announced that all men’s teams below National League level and all women’s teams below Championship level will have their current seasons voided due to the COVID-19 pandemic – the illness causes by the coronavirus which is taking over the word. Unfortunately, Gillingham’s ladies’ team, playing in the National League South, fall into the second category mentioned. The Loan Players Situation - Written By Matthew Hill The loan market has proved to be extremely important for Gillingham’s men’s team this season. Over the course of the campaign, seven players have joined on a temporary basis – although not all of them are at the club anymore. Whilst Mikael Ndjoli and Alex Jakubiak have both been and gone since the season began, Alfie Jones, Thomas O’Connor, Jordan Roberts, Jordan Graham and Oliver Lee are still very much part of the current setup. With the size of the squad being quite small, however, all seven loan players have played their part as either regular starters, or consistently being called upon from the bench. But, with the club being so reliant on loan signings and with less than 10 games of the regular season remaining, if we ever get there, the topic of conversation is turning to what the squad will look like next season. Another seven days of football have been and gone and it was a mixed week for our loan boys. We had victories, defeats, a few draws, and even some hammerings. There are seven players to check out; we begin in League Two. Ouss Cissé Ouss would have been itching to get back out on the pitch on Saturday after Leyton Orient’s  match against Forest Green the previous week was postponed thanks to the weather. As he has been doing of late, the big midfielder started his Orient’s fixture at home to Cambridge on Saturday and saw out the 90 minutes, helping his side to a 2-1 victory in the process. Orient extended their unbeaten home run to seven matches with the win, and ‘King Ouss’, who has just been crowned Orient’s ‘Player of the Month’ for Januar
